LEM Products Big Bite 10 lb. Motorized Stuffer
We used this machine to successfully create our own pepperoni sticks and hunter sticks in 2022 and it worked to perfection. We were new to sausage stuffing and found that this unit was easy to use. The stuffer offers variable speed control, and the foot pedal allows for one-person operation. Cleanup is a snap. It’s built like a tank; we expect our kids’ to be using this unit. We also used LEM casings and seasonings and have positive things to say about both.
Backpacker’s Pantry Freeze-Dried Meals
Backpacker’s Pantry has been around a long time—since 1971. Today, they pride themselves on producing gourmet backpacking meals. Their menu selection is more in tune with today’s dietary trends compared to what some other freeze-dried-meal providers are doing. For instance, Backpacker’s Pantry offers vegetarian, vegan, and organic meals, in addition to the more traditional selections. What’s more, you can find meals free of soy, tree nuts, dairy, peanut, and gluten. We tried the Blueberry Peach Crisp, Three Cheese Mac & Cheese, and Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. All of them were quite tasty.
