The Arctic Ice extreme conditions winter boot features a Vibram Arctic Grip outsole, also with a full Vibram Icetrek base layer for two-pronged traction technology forcold, wet and slippery conditions. The Arctic Ice features 8mm of CR Flex Foam and a fleece lining wrapped in a soft rubber outer layer so feet stay warm and dry in the most extreme temperatures (down to-60F for the tall boot and -40F for the mid). When we are sitting still glassing, it’s easy for feet to get cold. We are thinking that this might be a good boot to try when glassing, and then switch to a lighter, less-insulated hiking boot for the stalk.
